Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Process Engineer specializing in metallurgy to join their global technical services team. Operating entirely remotely, you will optimize metallurgical processes for mining operations, improve recovery, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

You will work with on-site metallurgists and plant operators, provide remote support, troubleshoot processing challenges, and lead continuous improvement initiatives from your home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in metallurgical process engineering within the mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of mineral processing techniques, including flotation, leaching, and smelting.
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., METSIM, HSC Chemistry) is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and provide practical, data-driven solutions.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, essential for working effectively with diverse teams.
