Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Metallurgist to join a globally distributed technical team and work remotely. You will optimize mineral processing operations, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements to maximize mineral recovery across multiple ore types.

The role requires a Master’s or Ph.D. in Metallurgy or a related field, at least seven years of mineral processing experience, and strong skills in data analysis and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in mineral processing and metallurgy.
• Proficiency with metallurgical simulation software (e.g., Metsim, Outotec HSC).
• Experience in data analysis and statistical process control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
