Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing chemical processes to identify areas for optimization in terms of yield, efficiency, and cost.
• Design and develop new chemical processes, pilot plants, and manufacturing setups.
• Utilize process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) for modeling and analysis.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions remotely.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Develop P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Support scale‑up activities from laboratory to pilot to commercial production.
• Collaborate with R&D, operations, and maintenance teams to implement process improvements.
• Conduct process hazard analyses (PHAs) and risk assessments.
• Document process designs, operational procedures, and technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in process design, simulation, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation processes.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and CAD tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Strong understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
