Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Pharmaceutical Data Manager to oversee the collection, management, and integrity of clinical trial data. Working remotely, you will ensure data accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance, collaborating with study teams to design databases and support data cleaning and database lock.

You will engage with biostatistics and programming to ensure data quality for analysis and reporting, while maintaining documentation and data management standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of clinical data management experience.
• Experience with EDC systems (Medidata Rave/Oracle Clinical).
• Strong knowledge of CDISC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects remotely.
• Proven ability to work effectively in remote cross-functional teams.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Pharmaceutical Data Manager to oversee the collection, management, and integrity of clinical trial data. Working entirely remotely, you will be responsible for ensuring that all data is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory standards and study protocols. You will collaborate with clinical operations, biostatistics, and programming teams to design databases, manage data flow, and ensure timely data cleaning and database lock. This is a crucial role for a detail-oriented professional committed to high-quality clinical research data, supporting our operations in Kimberley .

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain clinical databases using Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
• Develop and implement data management plans, data validation guidelines, and edit checks.
• Oversee the data cleaning process, ensuring timely resolution of data queries.
• Manage data entry, quality control, and reconciliation of data from various sources.
• Participate in the development of Case Report Forms (CRFs) and study-specific data management documentation.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians and programmers to ensure data accuracy for analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as FDA and ICH GCP guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proficiency with industry-standard EDC systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
