Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Clinical Data Manager to join their fully remote research team. You will oversee end-to-end data management for clinical trials, from database design to data closure, ensuring data quality for regulatory submissions and decision making.

The role collaborates with global teams and requires experience with EDC systems (Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical), adherence to GCP and CDISC standards, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science, health science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of clinical data management experience in pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Proficiency with EDC systems (Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical) and data management tools.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, CDISC (SDTM/ADAM) and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, and validation of clinical databases using EDC systems.
• Develop Data Management Plans and other data management documentation.
• Manage data entry, cleaning, and validation processes for accuracy.
• Develop and execute data review and query management strategies.
• Coordinate with operations, biostatistics, and programming teams to ensure data collection and lock.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, regulatory guidelines and SOPs.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinical Data Manager to join their fully remote research team. This role is paramount in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of clinical trial data, which is essential for regulatory submissions and informed decision-making in drug development. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of clinical data, from database design to data closure. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and validation of clinical databases using Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
• Develop Data Management Plans (DMPs) and other data management documentation.
• Manage data entry, cleaning, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and execute data review and query management strategies.
• Liaise with clinical operations, biostatistics, and programming teams to ensure timely data collection and database lock.
• Ensure compliance with GCP , regulatory guidelines, and company SOPs for data management.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry.
