Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms for analyzing large-scale omics, clinical trial, and real-world data.
• Extract, clean, and transform complex datasets from various sources to prepare them for analysis.
• Develop predictive models for drug target identification, patient stratification, and treatment response.
• Collaborate closely with computational biologists, chemists, clinicians, and bioinformaticians to define analytical needs and interpret results.
• Visualize and communicate complex data findings and model insights through clear reports, presentations, and interactive dashboards.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and analytical workflows using Python, R, and relevant big data technologies.
• Contribute to the design and analysis of preclinical and clinical studies.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and bioinformatics within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ensure data integrity, reproducibility, and compliance with data privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in data science, with a significant focus on the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and R.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning), and experimental design.
• Experience with biological data types (genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics) and clinical trial data analysis.
