Placements24 is seeking a skilled Clinical Data Manager to join the team in Polokwane in a hybrid role. You will manage and ensure the integrity of clinical trial data across study databases, collaborating with clinical operations, biostatistics, and programming teams to deliver high-quality data for reliable evaluation of pharmaceutical products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years' experience in clinical data management within pharma/CRO settings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
• Proficiency with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP, and data standards (e.g., CDISC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate clinical databases using EDC systems.
• Develop data management plans (DMPs) and data validation plans (DVPs).
• Oversee data entry, data cleaning, query management, and database lock processes.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for data management.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure consistency between protocols, CRFs, and databases.
• Generate data management reports and provide status updates to project teams.
