Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Therapist to join a remote team delivering teletherapy services to children. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric clients via telepractice, with an emphasis on family coaching and home strategies.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in SLP, CCC, and is eligible for HPCSA registration, with at least 3 years of pediatric experience and proficiency in Zoom or Doxy.me.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• CCC certification and HPCSA registration eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years pediatric speech-language therapy experience.
• Experience with teletherapy delivery and video conferencing.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Doxy.me, and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric speech-language evaluations for clients via telepractice.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Provide telepractice therapy addressing articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatics.
• Educate parents and caregivers on strategies for home support.
• Maintain confidential documentation and billing support as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Stay current with pediatric SLP research and teletherapy best practices.
• Manage caseload and timely completion of documentation.
