Placements24 is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join a leading pediatric therapy team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy to children with speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders, both in-clinic and via remote sessions.

You will collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to develop home programs and monitor progress, staying current with best practices and reporting outcomes.

Formación

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from accredited institution.
• Registered with HPCSA as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• 3–5 years of pediatric clinical experience.
• Experience assessing and treating articulation, language delays, autism spectrum disorders, feeding difficulties.
• Strong diagnostic skills and documentation proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and counseling skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with electronic health records.
• Hybrid work adaptability.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments of speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services through individual and group sessions.
• Educate families on communication strategies and home programs.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, educators, and other professionals.
• Maintain confidential client records and progress notes.
• Stay current with research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and assistive communication devices.
• Advocate for clients within family, school, and community settings.
