Placements24 is seeking a highly qualified Remote Pediatric Development Specialist to support children from infancy through adolescence using telehealth across South Africa. The role focuses on guidance, resources, and virtual consultations for parents and guardians.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Pediatric Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of direct pediatric development experience with children and families.
• Licensure or certification as required by SA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote consultations and guidance to parents on pediatric development, milestones, behavior, and learning.
• Assess and monitor developmental progress via virtual interactions and parent-reported information.
• Develop and distribute educational materials for parents on pediatric development topics.
• Collaborate with remote healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care plans.
• Offer strategies for addressing common childhood developmental and behavioral issues.
• Stay updated with latest research, trends, and best practices in pediatric development and telehealth.
• Contribute to development and improvement of the platform's pediatric services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Empower parents with knowledge and tools to support their child’s growth.
