Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to own top-of-funnel outreach across South Africa. You will research and book meetings with qualified decision makers, craft personalized sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, and maintain clean Salesforce records to drive pipeline for Account Executives.

Qualifications

2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
