The role requires 5+ years in network engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent, and deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and security principles. Remote collaboration and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration, with a strong focus on support.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and network security principles.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, essential for a remote role based out of Soweto or similar locations.
