Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Network Infrastructure Technician to support operations across Gauteng and beyond. This fully remote role involves monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting client network infrastructures to maximize uptime.

You will work with on-site teams and clients to resolve issues, perform remote installations, and maintain documentation. Strong problem-solving and communication are essential for success in a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues remotely.
• Experience with documentation and ticketing in a distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks remotely and proactively detect outages.
• Configure, install, and upgrade network hardware and software remotely.
• Provide remote support to clients and field technicians.
