Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Network Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot network systems from anywhere. This role supports operations across multiple locations, including Richards Bay, and requires you to work autonomously while collaborating with IT teams around the world.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Network Specialist or similar role with understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable for this remote position.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal uptime.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols and policies to protect data integrity.
• Develop and document network configurations, standards, and procedures.
• Provide remote technical support to end-users and other IT staff.
