Placements24 is seeking a seasoned National Sales Manager to lead a dispersed sales force across South Africa from a remote location. You will shape national sales strategies, drive revenue growth, and align cross-functional teams to expand market share, with a focus on major accounts and subsectors across the country.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in sales leadership within FMCG, strong coaching skills, and a proven track record of achieving ambitious targets while managing a remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales management experience, with at least 5 years in a national leadership role within FMCG.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
• Lead, mentor and manage a national team of sales representatives and regional managers.
• Set clear sales targets and KPIs, monitor performance and take corrective actions.
• Analyze market trends, competitors and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and finance to align sales with business goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key national and regional accounts.
• Oversee the sales budget and allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
• Implement sales training programs to enhance team capabilities.
