Placements24 seeks an accomplished Sales Director to lead the National Accounts division in a fully remote role within South Africa. You will develop high-level sales strategies, manage a team of account managers, and drive revenue growth through major national retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.

The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years FMCG sales leadership, exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of expanding market share in national channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management or related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• 8–10 years of progressive FMCG sales leadership experience with national accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for key accounts.
• Lead, mentor and motivate National Account Managers to meet performance goals.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with major national retailers, wholesalers and distributors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing terms, promotions and distribution plans with key accounts.
• Analyze market trends and sales data to identify growth opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and finance to ensure alignment of plans.
• Manage the national accounts sales budget and ROI.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
• Provide strategic input to product development and portfolio expansion.
