Placements24 is seeking a highly strategic Logistics Operations Manager to lead our national logistics network from a fully remote setting. This executive role drives efficiency, cost-management, and service levels across transportation and warehousing nationwide.

You will develop and implement logistics strategies, manage KPIs, and negotiate with carriers and 3PL partners, while mentoring a dispersed team and shaping the future of our supply chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Operations.
• Proven success in managing large-scale, complex logistics networks.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience leading remote teams and stakeholders.
• Expertise in logistics software, WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain.
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution nationwide.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers, 3PL providers and partners.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead a geographically dispersed logistics team and foster high performance.
• Implement innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve service levels.
