Placements24 is seeking an experienced Logistics and Fleet Manager to lead our operations remotely. The role oversees transportation logistics, fleet maintenance, and carrier relationships to maximize efficiency and compliance. You will develop strategies, manage remote teams, and drive cost-saving initiatives across the network.

The position emphasizes strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and the use of fleet management tools to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics management, focused on fleet operations.
• Proven experience managing remote teams and operations.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, fleet maintenance, and fuel management.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and logistics planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive logistics and fleet management strategies to optimize transportation operations.
• Manage and oversee maintenance, repair, and compliance of the company fleet.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
• Monitor transportation costs, identify savings opportunities, and implement cost-control measures.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
