Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Mining Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain software for global mining operations. This fully remote role focuses on data management, visualization, and optimization of extractive processes from a home office.

Candidates should have 6+ years of software development, with at least 2 years in mining or natural resources, and proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or C++. Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Git are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in mining or natural resources applications.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or C++.
• Experience with database development (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy software applications for mining functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations with mining software systems.
• Optimize software performance, scalability, and reliability.
