Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Data Analyst for a globally distributed, remote mining operations team. You will transform raw production and maintenance data into actionable insights, building dashboards and reports that drive safety and profitability.

You will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from ERP/SCADA systems, develop KPI visualizations with Power BI or Tableau, and collaborate with engineers and operations managers to deliver data-driven solutions from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst delivering data-driven insights.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from ERP, SCADA, maintenance logs.
• Develop interactive dashboards/reports using Power BI or Tableau to visualize KPIs.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities in production and resource management.
• Collaborate with mine engineers, geologists, and operations managers to understand data needs.
• Develop predictive models for maintenance, production forecasting, and safety risk.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reporting outputs.
