The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, data visualization skills, and mining industry experience to drive data-informed decisions from anywhere.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, with demonstrable experience in the mining industry.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various mining operations and exploration activities.
• Develop and implement data models and statistical analyses to identify trends and patterns.
• Create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate remotely with geologists, engineers, and operations managers to understand data needs.
