Placements24 is seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Engineer for a fully remote role supporting operations near Upington, South Africa. You will lead the design, analysis, integration, and validation of complex mechanical systems across a distributed team.

The role requires a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years in mechanical design, FEA/CFD, and CAE tools. You will collaborate with electrical and software teams, create technical documentation, and deliver robust, scalable

Qualifications

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience in mechanical systems design, analysis, and integration.
Proficiency in advanced CAD and CAE software packages.
Experience analyzing and optimizing complex mechanical systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and integrate complex mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to project requirements.
Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD, to validate designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a remote setting to ensure system coherence.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications and integration plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical system issues during development, testing, and deployment.
