Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to innovative projects. This remote role focuses on creating efficient mechanical designs using cutting-edge tools while collaborating with a distributed team from anywhere.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on design experience, proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor), and strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years hands-on mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor).
• Experience with engineering simulation/analysis tools.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for components and assemblies.
• Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to define requirements.
• Create and manage BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.
• Stay updated on new technologies and design methods.
