Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic Online Tutor specializing in Mathematics and Science to join our remote-first educational platform servicing Centurion and beyond. You will conduct one-on-one sessions online, tailoring instruction to individual learning styles and pacing to boost understanding and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Science, or related field.
• Teaching qualification is advantageous.
• Proven tutoring or teaching experience in Mathematics and Science, preferably online.
• Strong command of online tutoring platforms and digital learning tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live online tutoring sessions for Mathematics and Science from secondary school to tertiary levels.
• Assess student understanding and adapt teaching strategies to address learning needs.
• Prepare customized lesson plans and supplementary materials for each session.
• Provide constructive feedback on student performance and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions conducted and student progress reports.
