Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Online Mathematics Tutor to provide personalized support to students from secondary to tertiary levels. This fully remote role lets you set your own hours and work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
You will assess learning needs, develop tailored tutoring plans, and deliver clear, engaging math instruction to boost understanding and confidence, helping students achieve better academic results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
- Master's degree is advantageous for the role.
- Proven experience tutoring or teaching mathematics at relevant levels.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one online tutoring sessions in mathematics across algebra, calculus, geometry, statistics.
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to create customized learning plans.
- Explain complex mathematical concepts clearly using digital tools.
- Track progress, give feedback, and communicate with students/parents about performance.
- Adapt tutoring methods to suit different learning styles and maintain engagement during sessions.
