Placements24 invites passionate Online Mathematics Tutors to join its expanding remote team, supporting students from Richards Bay and beyond. You will deliver one-on-one and small group sessions, explaining concepts clearly and adapting to each learner's level.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field.
Experience teaching or tutoring Mathematics at secondary or tertiary level.
Strong understanding of Grades 8–12 and first-year university math.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills for online delivery.
Proficiency with online collaboration tools, video conferencing, and digital whiteboards.
Reliable internet and a dedicated remote workspace.

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging and effective online tutoring sessions in Mathematics for students of various ages and abilities.
Develop personalized learning plans tailored to individual student needs and learning objectives.
Explain complex mathematical concepts, theories, and problem-solving techniques clearly and concisely.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods as needed.
