Bright Placements is seeking a Managing Director for a private hunting and game farm in the Eastern Cape. The role leads all operations, including hunting activities, game management, conservation, hospitality, staff, and financial performance to drive sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership, strong commercial acumen and a deep knowledge of South African hunting industry and wildlife management. Remote living on-site is expected in this rural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of senior management experience.
• Relevant qualification in game ranch/wildlife/agriculture/business/hospitality management.
• Proven experience in hunting and game-farm operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for the hunting farm.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure professional management of the property.
• Manage and coordinate all hunting activities and client experience.
• Develop relationships with hunters, outfitters and industry partners.
• Oversee game management, breeding and conservation practices.
• Monitor health and condition of game and compliance with legislation.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, cash flow and financial performance.
