Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs in the Gauteng region. You will work with program teams to design and implement robust M&E frameworks and provide insights for strategic improvements and accountability in the charitable sector.

The role requires significant fieldwork and on-site engagement, with responsibilities including data collection, analysis, reporting, and ensuring data quality and ethical practices

Qualifications

• Degree in social sciences, statistics, or development studies.
• Proven experience in M&E, preferably in non-profit.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement M&E frameworks and tools.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret program data to assess progress.
• Prepare regular M&E reports with findings and recommendations.
• Conduct field visits to gather data and support teams on-site.
• Ensure data quality and ethical data collection practices.
