Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Loss Prevention Consultant to join its risk management team. This fully remote role focuses on assessing client sites virtually, developing loss prevention strategies, and reducing insurance losses nationwide.

You will analyze incident data, provide safety recommendations, and collaborate with underwriters and claims teams. A background in OHS or risk management and strong communication are essential; willingness to travel occasionally for on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OHS, risk mgmt, eng or related field.
• Min 4 years in loss prevention or safety consulting, preferably in insurance.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and loss control strategies.
• Strong data interpretation and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; engaging presentations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual assessment tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and loss potential analyses for clients through virtual means.
• Develop and implement customized loss prevention programs and safety recommendations.
• Provide expert guidance on workplace safety, regulatory compliance (e.g., OHS), and operational best practices.
• Analyze incident reports and claims data to identify trends and root causes of losses.
• Deliver training and educational materials to clients on risk management and loss prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other internal stakeholders to support risk management efforts.
• Stay updated on relevant industry standards, legal requirements, and emerging safety concerns.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor on loss prevention matters.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of loss prevention strategies and make necessary adjustments.
