Placements24 is seeking an analytical Remote Logistics Planner to join their transportation division. You will develop strategic plans for moving goods, optimize routes, manage capacity, and ensure on-time delivery from a home-based setup near Cape Town.

The role requires a Bachelor's in logistics or related field and at least 3 years of experience, with proficiency in TMS and logistics software. You will monitor KPIs and collaborate with carriers to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics planning, transportation management, or supply chain analysis.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in logistics planning software and TMS.
Understanding of transportation modes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Negotiation and communication skills for managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement efficient transportation plans with route optimization and transit times.
