Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Logistics Operations Analyst to optimize supply chain performance for a leading e-commerce logistics firm. You will analyze operational data, create KPIs and dashboards, and propose data-driven improvements to reduce costs and improve delivery metrics from anywhere in South Africa.

The role requires strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python or R, and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI, with excellent communication and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field related to logistics or analytics.
• Proven experience as a Logistics/Operations Analyst with data emphasis.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, Python or R; BI visualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze datasets related to logistics operations.
• Develop KPI dashboards to track efficiency and identify improvements.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions.
• Prepare reports and present insights to management.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, and finance to implement changes.
• Support development of new logistics strategies and technologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend actions.
• Stay updated on logistics analytics best practices.
