Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Logistics Operations Specialist to join their team, working remotely from Pretoria. You will manage end-to-end logistics, coordinate with carriers and internal teams, track shipments, and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years in logistics, familiarity with TMS/WMS, Incoterms, and strong organizational and communication skills. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation operations.
• Proficiency with TMS and WMS systems.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the movement of goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve logistical issues.
• Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and proof of delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to shipments promptly.
