Placements24 is seeking a motivated Logistics Operations Assistant to support our logistics and warehousing team. This remote role focuses on data entry, document management, and coordination with internal teams and external partners, serving Kimberley and beyond.

You will assist with shipments, tracking, reporting, and administrative tasks, while developing skills in a dynamic supply chain environment. A strong communicator with solid MS Office skills will thrive in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in logistics is a plus.
• Some prior experience in admin, customer service, or logistics is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and handling logistics documentation.
• Enter data for shipments, inventory, and operations records into relevant systems.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse staff to resolve issues.
• Prepare reports on logistics activities, including shipment status and KPIs.
• Support logistics team with admin tasks and ensure compliance with policies.
