Placements24 is seeking a Remote Logistics Data Analyst to join a global leader in supply chain solutions. You will analyze complex logistics data, identify trends, and support strategic decision‑making from a fully remote setup within South Africa.

The role requires 3–5 years in data analysis, strong SQL, and proficiency with Tableau or Power BI. You will develop dashboards, forecast demand, optimize routes, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field.
• 3–5 years of data analysis experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to logistics operations, transportation, and warehousing.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in logistics data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to logistics managers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop predictive models to forecast demand, optimize routes, and manage inventory.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analysis.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics analytics.
