Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Dispatch Coordinator to join its virtual operations team in South Africa. You will coordinate drivers, manage delivery schedules, and troubleshoot logistical challenges from a remote setting, communicating with drivers, clients, and hubs.

The role requires sharp organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a remote environment while supporting 24/7 operations across regions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, dispatching, or a similar role.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries and pick-ups for a fleet of drivers across territories.
• Monitor driver progress and status in real-time using dispatch software.
• Identify and resolve logistical issues to minimize disruption.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers with instructions and support.
• Communicate delivery updates, ETAs, and issues to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver assignments, and confirmations.
