Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a seasoned Remote Dispatch and Logistics Manager to lead our dispatch operations from a remote workspace. You will manage a team of dispatchers, coordinate with drivers across locations, and ensure efficient movement of goods for our Richards Bay base.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, strong organizational skills, and extensive experience with route planning software and transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily remote dispatch operations and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Train and mentor a remote team of dispatchers for high performance.
• Develop dispatch strategies to optimize routes and delivery times.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers, resolving issues and providing support.
• Monitor shipments and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
