Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Paralegal to join our busy Litigation Department. This fully remote role supports the legal team in preparing documents, researching, and keeping case files organized from a home office.

Key duties include drafting pleadings, conducting research, coordinating with clients and witnesses, and managing discovery requests. The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, at least two years in litigation, and proficiency with legal research

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation.
• Proficiency in legal research software and e-discovery tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, suitable for a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources.
• Organize and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
• Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony.
