Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Paralegal to support the litigation team. The role focuses on case management, document preparation, legal research, and client communications in a fully remote environment.

You should have a recognized paralegal qualification with at least four years in litigation, strong research skills, and experience with case management software. Excellent organization and clear remote communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

A recognized paralegal qualification or equivalent legal studies background.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal, with a significant portion focused on litigation.
Proficiency in legal research methodologies and case management software.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in document management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote interaction.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in managing all phases of litigation, from pre-trial discovery to post-trial motions.
Organize, maintain, and track case files, evidence, and legal documents electronically.
Conduct legal research using online databases and libraries to support case strategy.
Draft legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and discovery requests/responses under attorney supervision.
Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and client meetings.
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties.
