Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Leisure Facility Operations Manager to oversee multiple high-end properties from a remote setting. The role requires strategic leadership, strong financial discipline, and deep industry knowledge to deliver safe, efficient, and profitable operations near Randburg and beyond.

You will manage budgets, drive operational excellence, and mentor remote teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences while upholding health and safety standards across all sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive leisure or facility management experience, with strong leadership responsibility.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex operations and large budgets effectively.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards, risk management, and best practices in Leisure & Sports.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and remote team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction across leisure facilities.
• Oversee budget management, financial planning, and resource allocation for all managed properties.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage on-site facility management teams, fostering a positive, productive remote work environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in service delivery, operational processes, and sustainability practices.
