About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking recruitment consultancy, is seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Talent Acquisition Strategist to drive their talent acquisition initiatives on a fully remote basis. This senior role is crucial for developing and implementing innovative strategies to attract, engage, and retain top talent for their clients and their own organisation. You will leverage data analytics, market intelligence, and best practices to design and execute comprehensive talent acquisition programs. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record in developing and scaling talent strategies, possesses exceptional analytical skills, and excels in a remote, collaborative environment. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of talent acquisition for our client and their diverse clientele, operating from anywhere in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Design and manage employer branding initiatives to attract high-calibre candidates.
• Utilise data analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and optimise processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop and refine recruitment processes, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct market research to identify talent trends, competitor strategies, and innovative sourcing channels.
• Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and technology vendors.
• Oversee the selection and implementation of recruitment technology solutions (ATS, CRM).
• Develop and deliver training programs on recruitment best practices and methodologies.
• Ensure diversity and inclusion are integrated into all talent acquisition efforts.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic role.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful, large-scale talent acquisition strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Expertise in employer branding, recruitment marketing, and social media recruitment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, and other talent management technologies.
• Experience in managing remote teams and fostering collaboration in a virtual environment.
• Deep understanding of current labour market trends and legislative requirements.
