Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Security Architect for a remote SA-based role. You will design and deliver enterprise security architectures, guide cloud and on-prem security standards, and mentor security engineers while aligning security with business strategy.

You will lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and incident response planning, influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS/Engineering/Info Security.
• 10+ years in information security; 5+ years in security architecture.
• Experience designing security for large-scale environments.
• Knowledge of SABSA or TOGAF frameworks.
• Experience with threat modeling, risk assessment, and incident response.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise security solutions.
• Maintain the security architecture roadmap.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate security technologies.
• Provide technical leadership on security best practices to teams.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
• Define security standards for cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into security requirements.
• Lead threat modeling and develop mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior security architects and engineers.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and security trends.
