Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to design and oversee enterprise-wide security initiatives from a remote workspace. You will mentor a talented team and shape the security posture for critical infrastructure.

You will manage advanced security technologies, drive risk assessments, incident response, and ensure ISO 27001 and PCI DSS compliance while collaborating with IT and development teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity engineering and architecture.
• Master's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience leading technical teams and complex security projects.
• Strong cloud and application security expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise cybersecurity strategies.
• Oversee deployment of security tools: firewalls, SIEM, DLP.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, vulnerability management.
• Develop incident response playbooks and lead breach responses.
• Mentor security engineers and collaborate with IT/Dev teams.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
