Placements24 is seeking a Lead Information Security Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and lead advanced security solutions across large cloud environments, guiding a distributed team and integrating security into the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in information security with senior leadership experience, deep cloud security expertise, and strong scripting skills.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 8+ years in information security engineering with 4+ years in senior/lead roles.
• Extensive cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of IAM, cryptography, network security, and application security.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, development, and implementation of security architectures for cloud platforms.
• Define security standards, best practices, and automation for infra and apps.
• Mentor and guide a team of security engineers and collaborate with DevOps/SRE/product teams.
• Conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new systems.
• Develop security automation tools to improve efficiency and posture.
