• Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience with a strong focus on residential architecture.
• Proven experience in leading residential design projects from concept to completion.
• Exceptional design skills and a keen eye for aesthetics, functionality, and detail.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with strong 3D modeling and rendering capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of South African building regulations and residential construction practices.
• Excellent communication, client management, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse and high-quality residential design work is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of residential projects, from concept development to final construction documentation.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs, aspirations, and budget, guiding them through the design process.
• Develop creative and functional design solutions for single-family homes, townhouses, and apartment buildings.
• Produce high-quality drawings, 3D models, and visualizations using industry-standard software.
• Ensure designs comply with local zoning regulations, building codes, and our client's design standards.
• Coordinate with engineers (structural, MEP), interior designers, and contractors throughout the project.
• Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Review shop drawings and respond to contractor RFIs during the construction phase.
• Mentor junior architects and designers involved in residential projects.
