Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Lead Mining Engineer for a fully remote role, supporting operations across diverse locations. You will lead mine design, planning, and optimization while mentoring engineers remotely and ensuring safety, environmental, and economic objectives are met.

You will drive innovative methodologies using digital tools and advanced analytics, collaborating with management, operations, and external consultants to shape the future of mining globally.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mine planning, design, and operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in open-pit or underground mining methods and equipment selection.
• Proficiency with mine planning software such as MinePlan, Deswik, or Vulcan.

• Lead the design, planning, and scheduling of complex mining operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Develop and implement innovative mining methodologies and technologies.
• Oversee feasibility studies, mine optimization projects, and production forecasting.
