You should have a B.Eng or M.Eng in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years in the mining sector, and strong expertise in high voltage, VFDs, and PLC/SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of extensive experience in electrical engineering, with focus on mining.
• Expertise in designing and managing electrical systems for heavy industrial equipment and machinery.
• Strong understanding of high voltage systems, VFDs, and PLC/SCADA in mining.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering design and development for new mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Oversee integration of electrical systems including power distribution, automation, and control for mining machinery.
• Ensure all designs comply with mining safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Conduct electrical system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for remote operations.
• Mentor junior electrical engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
