Placements24 is seeking a Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer to join a fully remote engineering division. You will define system architectures, mentor a team of remote engineers, and drive the integration of sophisticated mechanical subsystems for next-generation products.

You will collaborate with software, electrical, and systems teams, perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses, and establish testing protocols.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems design and leadership of complex projects.
• Expertise in system-level design, integration, and testing of mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems from concept to validation in a remote setting.
• Define system requirements, specifications and architecture with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee selection and integration of mechanisms to ensure reliability and performance.
• Conduct stress, thermal and vibration analyses using advanced simulation tools.
• Develop and implement robust testing protocols and document results.
