Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects for our agency clients.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach over blasting lists, using tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
