Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Enterprise Integration Architect to guide architecture, design, and delivery of complex integration across global systems in a remote-first setup. You will own standards, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable data flows using MuleSoft, Oracle SOA, IBM IIB, REST, Kafka, and cloud services.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 10+ years in integration-focused enterprise architecture, with strong leadership and remote-work track

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience with a focus on integration.
• Proven experience with middleware platforms and API management (MuleSoft, Oracle SOA Suite, IBM Integration Bus).
• Knowledge of integration patterns (Pub/Sub, Request/Reply, Batch) and technologies (REST, SOAP, Kafka, MQ).
• Experience with cloud integration services (AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus).
• Strong understanding of JSON/XML data formats and security protocols (OAuth, JWT).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven success in fully remote environments with high autonomy and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-wide integration solutions (APIs, microservices, ESBs, event-driven).
• Define integration standards, patterns, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead selection and deployment of integration technologies and platforms.
• Translate requirements into technical designs with business and IT stakeholders.
• Oversee development, deployment, and security of integration solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and architects.
• Conduct architectural reviews of existing and proposed solutions.
• Manage vendor relationships for integration technology.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
