Placements24 invites an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to manage stormwater and drainage projects on a global scale. This fully remote role requires strong leadership and international collaboration with clients and teams around the world.

You will design SUDS, hydraulic models, and flood-control solutions, while mentoring engineers and ensuring technical excellence in all deliverables.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Hydraulic Engineering.
Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr. Eng. is mandatory.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, focus on stormwater and drainage design.
Proven experience leading complex urban drainage and flood management projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of major stormwater and drainage infrastructure projects.
Develop hydraulic models for urban catchments and drainage networks.
Design and implement SUDS and flood control measures.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, reports, and tender documentation.
Manage project teams and ensure schedules are met.
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
Collaborate with clients, planners, environmental specialists, and regulators.
Review designs for quality and compliance.
Stay updated on stormwater management tech and best practices.
Contribute to business development through proposals and presentations.
